My love for Viktor&Rolf

If you would ask me for my favourite designer I would have to go with two: Viktor... &Rolf. I have been wowed by their designs since - I'm guessing - 2004 and have followed their work ever since. It was - note the 'was' - my unrealistic dream (as a poor earning student) to once own one of their items, no matter how small... and for the record: the V&R love H&M collection does NOT count! The day has come my friends - not even an hour ago I managed to 'win' a true blue (yes it is indeed very blue) Viktor&Rolf silk shawl on eBay and it only cost me 25 euros - unbelievable!

One day I curse eBay - the next I absolutelyfuckingadoreit.

It has been a GOOD day, a VERY GOOD day indeed <3

Matthew Williamson ♥ H&M

Two dates to remember:

23 April 2009 & .. May 2009

On these dates the new guest designer collection of H&M - this time designed by Matthew Williamson will be available in selected H&M stores. In April 200 selected stores will sell his designs, and in May all other stores will follow suit.

I've become a fan of the guest designer collections for H&M since Viktor & Rolf did V&R love H&M. I was there when the doors of the H&M of Amsterdam opened on 9 November 2006 - unfortunately I was so shocked by all the fighting, pushing & tearing of clothes that I froze and only managed to get a shirt. Since then I have not been to one of those 'openings', but I think I'm going to have another try April the 23rd! I have at least penned it down in my agenda...

Tulips!

A popular item on the catwalks of the last fashion weeks was the tulipskirt and occasional dress. Victor & Rolf had a cute little black tulip skirt in their fashion-forward online show - modelled by the lovely Shalom Harlow:
